A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Law at the University of Ottawa, Alexa Charbonneau also holds a Juris Doctor in North American Common Law from the Université de Montréal and is currently pursuing a master's degree in taxation at the Université de Sherbrooke. She also learned about the English legal system during a student exchange to the University of Kent in England as well as the Chinese legal system at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. Called to the Barreau du Québec in 2017, she joined the Cain Lamarre team at their Montréal office in 2018. Alexa Charbonneau mainly practices in the field of tax law, particularly by assisting corporate and individual taxpayers in tax litigation matters.
