Toronto native and perfectly bilingual, Me Émilie Hunkin joined Cain Lamarre in 2020 after completing her internship at a national law firm. She now practices in the Quebec City office, primarily in the labour and employment law team.

Energetic, applied and invested in her work, Me Hunkin places great importance on teamwork. She succeeds in uniting everyone's energies around her to achieve the best results.

Me Hunkin received her Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Université Laval in Quebec City in 2018. During her studies, she distinguished herself, notably by figuring on the Faculty of Law’s honor roll in 2018-2019. She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2019.

During the course of her studies, Me Hunkin also participated in the Laskin national moot court competition in constitutional and administrative law. With her team, she won third place overall. She also distinguished herself during her participation for the Dean's Cup where she won the semi-final for best litigator.

Known for her organizational skills and ability to work under pressure, Me Hunkin pays constant and sustained attention to detail. Her ability to listen, her intellectual rigour and her analytical mind have already enabled her to successfully complete several mandates.

Me Hunkin enjoys taking advantage of the many outdoor activities her region has to offer. She also enjoys evenings at the theater and traveling.
