With a Bachelor of Law degree from the Université de Montréal after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at HEC Montréal, Me Joannie Corriveau is a real asset to the Litigation and Family and Individuals Groups of the Quebec City office.
Me Corriveau began her practice in Montreal law firms, working mainly in civil and commercial litigation. Before settling in Baie-Saint-Paul, she founded her law firm in the metropolis to pursue her law practice. Moreover, Me Corriveau intends to develop a range of high-quality and local legal services in the Charlevoix region, which she particularly cherishes.
Me Corriveau has developed an expertise in personal and family law and works on cases involving common law spouses, child custody and access, division of patrimonial rights, alimony, as well as separation and divorce.
With the experience she has developed through a diversified litigation practice, Me Corriveau is versatile and has a remarkable ability to adapt. She demonstrates a great sense of analysis and judgment when confronted with complex issues.
Me Corriveau is committed to studying each case thoroughly to understand the issues at stake fully and thus define the legal solutions best suited to her client's situation. She favours a constructive rather than aggressive approach, but she remains a strong adversary.
In addition to her ease of communication, empathy, optimism, and team spirit, she is known for her respect, enthusiastic listening, and her devotion to the needs of her clients and colleagues. Her organizational skills and stress management are other qualities that make her an exceptional professional.
Outside the office, Me Corriveau is fond of outdoor activities. Gastronomy and travel also occupy her free time. The causes that she holds particularly close to her heart are the accessibility to education and the professional development of women.
