Called to the Quebec Bar in 2019, Me Marianne Poliquin practices labour and employment law, and civil and commercial litigation in Montreal. With a bachelor’s degree in law and a certificate in industrial relations, Me Poliquin takes a holistic approach to her cases. Her college diploma in delinquency intervention and her CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) status have enriched her understanding of people dynamics. She is also certified by the Quebec Bar as a lawyer conducting investigations on psychological harassment in the workplace.
Before starting her law career, Me Poliquin led an impressive path as a professional artistic swimming coach. She was head coach of a club in Switzerland for several years and accompanied the Swiss national team in a series of international competitions. At the same time, she nurtured a passion for music, working as a DJ for over 10 years.
What sets Me Poliquin apart in her legal practice is her innate coaching spirit, a quality that transcends her sporting background to permeate her professional approach. Empathetic, Me Poliquin knows how to adapt to every situation, combining a humane and global approach to issues with a genuine passion for helping others, making her a remarkable and dedicated professional.
Beyond her professional practice, Me Poliquin’s interests include psychology and criminology, as well as music, travel and discovering new activities. She feels strongly about mental health and access to mental health care, which is why she has been involved on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Quebec Division, since 2021.
