Marie-Josée Rivard

Marie-Josée Rivard is Director of Communications and Marketing at Cain Lamarre, where she draws on her recognized expertise in strategic communications and content marketing. A pioneer of branded content in Quebec, she has over 20 years’ experience in a variety of sectors including media, technology, telecommunications, culture and professional services.

A visionary driven by the power of words and storytelling, Ms. Rivard began her career as a journalist, host and producer, working with TVA, La Presse, Musimax, VOIR, TV5 and Canoë. She then moved into the world of publishing and branded content, where she contributed to innovative projects such as REZO, XPLORE and Libtv.

She has held executive positions at Sid Lee, TELUS, Alithya, Corus Entertainment and AQTIS, where she led large-scale campaigns, built powerful positioning strategies and managed crisis communications in complex, transforming environments.

Recognized for her keen sense of strategy, excellent leadership skills and ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders, Ms. Rivard is an influential and dedicated communicator. She is actively involved in her community and has served on the board of directors of Charles-Le Moyne Hospital.
