Lawyer, Partner

Alex Tremblay joined Cain Lamarre in 2011 and has since developed a recognized expertise in litigation, particularly in the areas of construction, real estate, commercial litigation, and civil liability.
Based at the firm’s Saguenay office, he has established an exceptional track record of success representing clients in highly complex cases that demand a deep understanding of Quebec’s construction laws and regulations.
Known for his pragmatic approach and unwavering dedication, he resolves most of his cases through negotiation. Mr. Tremblay is renowned for his strategic insight and ability to come up with innovative client-focused solutions.

He has also provided counsel on claims for additional and impact costs related to building and infrastructure projects.
Mr. Tremblay obtained his Law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2011. His commitment to his community is evident in his role as chair of the board of directors of the Fondation Asselin du Cégep de Jonquière. He also actively contributes to the construction industry as director and secretary of the Association de la Construction du Québec’s Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean branch. In addition, Mr. Tremblay has previously acted as director of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Saguenay, president and vice-president of the Association du Jeune Barreau du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, and legal counsel to the Knights of Columbus Council.
