Alexandra Gareau

Alexandra Gareau is a notary and has been a member of the Chambre des notaires since 2024. She practises at Cain Lamarre’s Val-d’Or office, where she puts her training to good use.

Ms. Gareau’s career path reflects her constant progress and in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of notarial offices. She previously worked as a Commercial Law assistant, Law student and articling student before becoming a notary. Ms. Gareau is known for her ability to explain complex legal documents using plain language that is easy to understand. She listens attentively to her clients in order to tailor her advice to meet the requirements of each specific case.

Ms. Gareau holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Notarial Law degree from Université Laval, as well as a Certificate in Political Science from the Université de Sherbrooke. Before becoming a notary, she had been considering a career in primary education. As a coach at the Mont-Vidéo ski club, she has the opportunity to pass on her knowledge and mentor young people, a mission that is particularly close to her heart.
