
Alix Génier
Avocate
Alix Génier works primarily in youth protection with the North team. Fascinated by the complexity of human realities, she chose to combine her multiple fields of interest by focusing her practice on youth protection in Inuit communities. The central theme of her diverse academic and professional career is her passion for helping others.
She is appreciated for her empathy and listening skills, as well as her natural curiosity and ability to come up with creative solutions when faced with an impasse.
Ms. Génier studied psychology and international development at McGill University. She then went on to study law at the same university, graduating with a degree in civil law and common law (BCL/JD). Ms. Génier has served on several community boards and been involved with a number of youth organizations.
