Anne-Marie Soucy

Originally from L’Isle-Verte, Anne-Marie Soucy was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2015 after articling with the City of Saguenay legal department. She worked in private practice in Rimouski before joining the Cain Lamarre team in Rivière-du-Loup in April 2018.

Her practice focuses primarily on personal and family law, with a particular emphasis on child custody, alimony, divorce and protection in case of incapacity. She also practices in civil litigation, with a particular focus on property and inheritance law. Mrs. Soucy is known for being thorough, transparent, and person-oriented. She makes it a point of honour to provide her clients with accurate information at all times, and she is always prepared to commit herself to her clients’ cases.  

Over the course of her career, Mrs. Soucy has represented clients in complex litigation cases involving immovable real rights, and has obtained favourable outcomes in matters of both child custody and child support. She has also advised clients and families on protection mandates and estate appeals. She distinguishes herself through her writing skills and knowledge of multiple areas of the law.  

Mrs. Soucy holds a Law degree from Université Laval. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is a member of the board of directors of the Caisse Desjardins de Viger et Villeray. She has also played badminton and deck-hockey for many years, as well as taking part in the occasional amateur theatre production.
