
Caroline Rouleau

Caroline Rouleau was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2022 and now practises municipal, environmental, agricultural and agri-food law at the Saguenay office. She is known for her integrity and her meticulous nature, as well as her thirst for learning and her willingness to delve into the subject at hand. She is not afraid to challenge the established ways of doing things in order to better serve her customers.
Prior to joining Cain Lamarre, Mrs. Rouleau worked with VIA Rail’s risk management team on various cases related to the Crown corporation’s compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Since the beginning of her career, Mrs. Rouleau has been involved in several cases under the jurisdiction of the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec.
Mrs. Rouleau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a joint degree in both Civil Law and Common Law (BCL/JD) from McGill University. During her university career, Me Rouleau took part in a clinical course at the Centre québécois du droit de l’environnement, where she carried out research and writing work at her legal clinic. She also completed a term at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, where she took courses in the faculties of Law and Earth Sciences.
