Catherine Bergeron has been practising professionally at the Saguenay office since her admission to the Bar in 2014.  Her practice is focused on Labour and Employment Law, where she advises and represents employers in matters of labour relations and occupational health and safety. In particular, she advises employers on the imposition of disciplinary and administrative measures, labour standards, the drafting of employment contracts and policies, and the interpretation and application of collective agreements. She is also accredited by the Quebec Bar as a workplace investigation lawyer.

She also practises in Personal and Family law, where she represents and advises individuals in disputes concerning separations, the division of property rights, child custody and alimony. In addition, she works on adoption and inheritance cases, particularly in the context of disputes between heirs, successors and liquidators.

Ms. Bergeron has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Université de Montréal and is heavily involved in various non-profit community organizations, such as the ÉcolACTion private elementary school and the Association Panda, which helps people living with Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD). She also completed a community internship with the Centre des femmes de Rivière-des-Prairies and was a member of the board of directors of the Jeune Barreau du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
