Catherine Dion was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2019, and joined Cain Lamarre in 2020 after working for another major Montreal firm. She practises business law, specializing in commercial and transactional law. Mrs. Dion excels at negotiating and drafting contractual agreements for a variety of industries, and is particularly attentive to her clients’ needs, offering realistic, appropriate solutions for any situation.

Over the course of her career, Mrs. Dion has acquired extensive experience in commercial and transactional law. Among her more notable projects, she has advised emerging technology companies on complex financing arrangements and participated in several large-scale M&A projects, including cross-border transactions. Her academic contributions have earned her several awards, including a dean’s citation and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. 

With a Bachelor of Laws degree from Université de Montréal and a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, Mrs. Dion is detail oriented and makes effective use of her team’s resources to achieve the best possible results. She also took part in exchange programs at the University of Costa Rica and University College Cork in Ireland. She is involved in a number of associations and is also a member of the board of directors of Les Rugissants, a non-profit organization working in the field of arts and culture.
