Charles-Éric Gilbert’s practice is focused on employment law and labour relations. He advises and represents employers on a wide range of issues including the imposition of disciplinary or administrative measures, labour standards, termination of employment, the development of employment contracts and policies, occupational health and safety, and the interpretation and application of collective agreements.

He also acts as a negotiator for employers during the collective bargaining process, as well as representing them before the Tribunal administratif du travail, arbitration tribunals and ordinary courts.

Among his more notable cases, Mr. Gilbert has conducted several investigations into psychological harassment and disciplinary/administrative concerns in the workplace. He has also advised companies on the development of internal policies and the management of labour conflicts, providing solutions tailored to meet his clients’ specific needs.

Mr. Gilbert is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CHRP) and he holds an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke. Outside of work, he is actively involved in his community, serving as chairman of the board of the Cégep de Chicoutimi.
