
Daniel Lafond

Early on in his career, Daniel Lafond was entrusted with a major case that provided him with the opportunity to develop solid expertise in Real Estate Law. Now, with more than 40 years’ experience, Mr. Lafond provides valuable legal advice to builders and developers on their real estate development projects. He also acts as a notary in financing transactions, as well as in sales and acquisitions, especially condominium sales.
Mr. Lafond enjoys collaborating with the various stakeholders involved in real estate projects. He works hand-in-hand with industry associations to teach builders about the legal aspects of condominium projects and frequently visits project sites to offer more precise, targeted advice. Renowned for his approachability, Mr. Lafond excels in explaining legal concepts in layman’s terms, thus making sure that important information is clear and accessible to his clients.
Mr. Lafond has a degree in Notarial Law from the University of Ottawa and an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Business Law from the Université du Québec à Montréal. His professional commitment is also reflected in his involvement in several legal associations and boards of directors.
