Danny Galarneau was called to the Quebec Bar in 2001, and is one of the few tax litigators in the greater Quebec City area. Over the years, Mr. Galarneau has developed expertise in assisting individuals and corporations with tax audits and objections to notices of assessment, both before the objections department and on appeal to the competent courts. He joined Cain Lamarre in 2022, bringing with him an in-depth knowledge of tax agency practices. Mr. Galarneau also sits on the board of directors of Cain Lamarre.

Mr. Galarneau has represented tax authorities for nearly 15 years, managing major cases at Revenu Québec and pleading before all levels of Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada. His experience helps him develop effective strategies for his clients, including helping poker players have their winnings be considered as windfalls for tax purposes.

Mr. Galarneau holds a Law degree from Université Laval. Outside of work, he is very involved in his community, most notably as coordinator of the Camp Tekakwitha Foundation.  Mr. Galarneau takes part in numerous athletic activities and enjoys spending time outdoors all year round, demonstrating the same determination to his recreational pursuits as he does to his professional activities.
