Élisabeth Jutras has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2003. After being called to the Bar, she worked for a firm in Quebec City. In 2004, she returned to her hometown of Drummondville, where she has been practising ever since. Ms. Jutras has acquired extensive experience in personal and family law, as well as civil litigation, earning a reputation for managing complex cases with empathy and rigour.
She has represented clients in complex family litigation matters including divorce, child custody and protection plans. In addition, she has provided legal advice to community organizations and previously served as an elected school commissioner on the Commission scolaire des Chênes in Drummondville from 2014 to 2020.
Ms. Jutras is a graduate of Université Laval and the University of Western Ontario. She sits on the board of directors of the Quebec Bar. Outside of work, she is actively involved in her community, notably as president of the board of directors of the Centre d’action bénévole Drummond, and as a member of the board of directors of the Fondation Sainte-Croix. She has also served on the boards of several other organizations, including the À Tire d’Aile childcare centre and the Fondation PEI-CSDC. Passionate about her community, she takes part in various initiatives to support families and young people in her region by volunteering for local organizations and helping organize events.
