After completing his studies, Mr. Vallières worked at a major accounting firm for ten years. He is passionate about Tax Law, and has remarkable expertise in corporate reorganization and estate planning.

He is actively involved in his community, participating regularly in activities organized by the Rouyn-Noranda Chamber of Commerce, and volunteering for events that benefit non-profit organizations, most notably the Osisko en Lumières Festival. Mr. Vallières is interested in art and philanthropy, and has also contributed his financial expertise by acting as treasurer for the Musée d’art de Rouyn-Noranda since 2016, as well as for the Fondation du Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
