Guillaume Desautels

Guillaume Desautels was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2015. He started out as an articling student at the Saguenay office before joining Cain Lamarre as a lawyer. His energy, passion for learning and thirst for new challenges have driven him to practise in two areas he is passionate about: civil and commercial litigation, and Construction Law.

As part of his professional practice, Mr. Desautels has represented a wide range of clients in complex construction and civil and professional liability litigation, helping them navigate legal complexities and implement effective policies. His proactive approach and ability to provide practical, tailored solutions make him both popular and well respected as a lawyer. 

Mr. Desautels has a Bachelor of Laws degree from Université Laval and is a member of the boards of directors for the Fondation de ma vie at the Hôpital de Chicoutimi and the Caisse Desjardins de Chicoutimi. Outside of his professional activities and community involvement, his interests include travel, music and downhill skiing.
