
Jean-Sébastien Tremblay-Mimeault

Jean-Sébastien Tremblay-Mimeault joined the firm in 2016 after completing his articling term, and has specialized in Transportation Law ever since. With his business vision, understanding of transportation industry issues, listening skills and proactive approach, Mr. Mimeault is constantly working to develop practical, effective legal solutions for the transportation industry. Over the course of his practice, he has become an expert in client representation before the Commission des transports du Québec, and in regulatory compliance, the drafting of transportation contracts and dispute resolution. In addition, he has solid negotiating skills.
Mr. Mimeault is deeply involved in the transportation industry and regularly acts as a speaker to share his knowledge with others. He publishes legal columns in various trade journals and was co-author of L’encadrement légal du transport routier par véhicules lourds au Québec. He is also involved with the Canadian Transportation Lawyers Association and the Association du camionnage du Québec, which awarded him the Prix de la relève in 2024.
Mr. Mimeault has a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Université de Sherbrooke. He also studied English Commercial Law in Hertfordshire, England. In addition to his professional practice, he is involved in his community and enjoys giving back as a volunteer.
