Jeanne Fafard has been practising Taxation Law at Cain Lamarre’s Montreal office since 2022. She quickly developed in-depth expertise, particularly in tax reorganization, tax and estate planning, ownership structures, business succession, tax litigation and objections to notices of assessment. Ms. Fafard also provides tax advice on a variety of subjects.
Ms. Fafard has acquired a wealth of professional experience through numerous internships, most notably with a renowned accounting firm. She is recognized for her work ethic, professional rigour and efficient case management. Her organizational and strategic skills help her achieve successful outcomes in her cases and offer solutions that meet the complex needs of her clients.
Ms. Fafard has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from HEC Montréal. She is also involved in a number of professional associations, notably the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF). She has received several distinctions for academic excellence and was on the Dean’s List at the Université de Sherbrooke.
