Joanie Simard

Joanie Simard specializes in Labour and Employment Law. She advises and represents employers, particularly in matters of collective and individual labour relations. She assists her clients in a variety of areas, including labour standards, industrial accidents and occupational diseases, occupational health and safety, and the negotiation, interpretation and application of collective agreements.

Since joining Cain Lamarre in 2012, Ms. Simard has worked on complex cases involving collective bargaining and occupational health and safety management. She previously gained experience with a number of renowned law firms, where she was able to develop her expertise in labour and employment law. Her ability to manage complex cases and provide strategic advice on labour relations is widely recognized among her colleagues.

Ms. Simard earned her Law degree from Université Laval in 2007. She is deeply involved in her community, regularly sharing her expertise by taking part in conferences and training sessions. Her practice is marked by her strong commitment to her clients and her dedication to providing them with effective legal solutions.
