Marie-Claude Veilleux focuses her practice on municipal, environmental and public administration law. She is regularly consulted for advice on the day-to-day management of municipalities, and is frequently called upon to collaborate with municipal stakeholders on issues of access to information, urban planning and development, the environment, contract management and municipal management. Her expertise and collaborative approach make her an invaluable resource for her clients.

After being called to the Bar in 2008, Mrs. Veilleux acquired extensive experience with several other renowned firms before joining Cain Lamarre in 2019. Over the course of her career, she has given numerous training sessions and lectures on various aspects of municipal and environmental law, including the roles and responsibilities of elected municipal officials, access to information and the protection of personal information, contract management and ethics and professional conduct in the municipal sphere. She is a recognized trainer for associations such as the Association des directeurs municipaux du Québec and the Fédération québécoise des municipalités. 

With a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Sherbrooke, Mrs. Veilleux is committed to sharing her knowledge and training municipal elected officials and civil servants through specialized training programs designed specifically with municipal employees in mind.
