Originally from the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, Martine Tremblay joined Cain Lamarre in 2003, where she decided to specialize in municipal law with a particular focus on urban planning and development, contract management, ethics and professional conduct, as well as regulations and other legal aspects of municipal governance.

She also has professional expertise in agricultural law, particularly with the Commission de la protection du territoire agricole du Québec (CPTAQ), access to information before the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI), and real estate law.  Since 2017, Me Tremblay has also been practising immigration law, working on cases that span the entire Canadian immigration process from temporary residence to permanent residence, in addition to compliance audits of employers hiring temporary foreign workers and family sponsorship applications. 

Me Tremblay enjoys working as part of a team and prides herself on her clear communication with her clients. She has made a name for herself by managing cases with precision and efficiency. She is recognized for her ongoing commitment to providing practical, customized legal solutions. 

Me Tremblay obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa in 2002. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Me Tremblay is involved with the Association des Femmes en Affaires Lac-St-Jean-Est and the Comité d’accueil et d’intégration des nouveaux arrivants in the City of Alma.  She is an ethics and conduct adviser, a member of the Association des procureurs de cours municipales du Québec, a member of the Canadian Bar Association – Immigration and Citizenship Law Section, and a member of the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates en droit de l’immigration.
