
Mélissa Beaulieu

A native of Chicoutimi, Mélissa Beaulieu joined Cain Lamarre’s Saguenay office in 2012 after articling at the Quebec Bar. She practices in Aboriginal law and an interest in international law.
Mrs. Beaulieu is known for her expertise in Indigenous rights and the negotiation of treaties and other constitutional agreements, providing her clients with added value through her rigorous approach and in-depth understanding of Indigenous issues.
Prior to joining Cain Lamarre, Me Beaulieu gained significant experience during her studies by working as a research assistant on topics related to children’s rights. Her academic contributions and professional experience reflect her devotion and expertise in the fields of Aboriginal and constitutional law.
Mrs. Beaulieu has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Sherbrooke, and a Master’s in Law from Université Montpellier I with a specialization in Common Law and Transnational Law. Outside of her legal practice, she is actively involved in her community. She is a member of the board of directors of Popote Express Chicoutimi and a former member of the board of directors of the Association du Jeune Barreau du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Her community involvement and dedication to social justice reflect her desire to give back to the community and make a positive difference.
