
Nadine Bigras

Nadine Bigras was called to the Quebec Bar in 2005 and is currently a partner of Cain Lamarre in the Outaouais region. She is actively involved in her region, where she has developed a diverse client base in the RMCs of the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, the Collines-de-l’Outaouais, Pontiac and Papineau as well as in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
She has in-depth knowledge of regional issues and the particular character of local conditions, acquired thanks to her active presence throughout the region. This enables her to provide legal counsel that is well adapted and relevant to the needs of each community.
Ms. Bigras works in the area of Labour and Employment Law. She also has expertise in the municipal field, in municipal ethics and professional conduct as well as governance. She represents employers, and acts as counsel to a wide range of clients including municipalities, community organizations, cooperatives, educational institutions, the health and social services sectors, as well as private enterprise. Her masterful knowledge of labour relations and human resources enables her to offer strategic legal solutions, particularly with regards to complex negotiations and crisis management.
In addition to her role as a lawyer, Ms. Bigras is also a municipal ethics and professional conduct counsellor, and serves as a trainer in municipal ethics. She holds a Law degree from the University of Ottawa, and has taught Labour Law at the Quebec Bar. She is actively committed to her community, and serves as secretary-treasurer of the Maison de culture de Gatineau and the Fondation du Cégep de l’Outaouais. Moreover, she is a member of the consultancy team of Évol, where she provides her expertise to companies and organizations.
