Olivier Lacoursière

Olivier Lacoursière practises in labour and employment law, as well as health law, at our Rouyn-Noranda office. He acts as a business partner in labour relations matters to various companies, ranging from SMEs to public institutions and large corporations. He also advises health and social service centres on a day-to-day basis as an in-house legal counsel.

He is regularly called upon to plead before the courts. Thanks to his expertise in administrative investigations, Mr. Lacoursière is accredited by the Quebec Bar as an investigating lawyer for workplace investigations. 

His outspokenness and ability to connect with others make it easy for him to establish relationships of trust with his clients. He is known and appreciated for his practical advice, thoroughness and personalized approach. Mr. Lacoursière regularly conducts training sessions for companies on best practices in labour relations, as well as for health care professionals on a variety of subjects.  

Mr. Lacoursière holds a Licentiate in Civil Law and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa. He is actively involved in his community as chair of the board of directors of the Société du 100e anniversaire de la ville de Rouyn-Noranda and as a director of the Club de Golf Municipal Dallaire. A volunteer in many community activities, he has a strong sense of belonging to his city and is proud of its extensive green spaces, dynamism and culture.
