Olivier Rivard

Olivier Rivard was admitted to the Chambre des notaires in 2004. Based in Montreal, Olivier Rivard launched his private practice in the heart of the Plateau-Mont-Royal as soon as he was sworn in. He has practised in many areas of Law, with a specialty in Real Estate Law. He is also recognized for his expertise in Inheritance Law.

Mr. Rivard is consistently attentive to his clients’ needs, and stands out for his personalized strategies and exceptional client relationships. He is always available for his clients and colleagues, with whom he enjoys discussing and thinking about legal issues. Mr. Rivard is experienced and versatile, and likes to see things through and help his clients achieve their goals. He shows great professional rigour and attention to detail in his notarial practice, making him an invaluable asset to the Cain Lamarre team. 

Mr. Rivard is a Law graduate of the Université de Montréal, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Notarial Law degree. He also completed several Masters-level courses in the Conservation of Built Heritage program at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Environmental Design. Outside his legal practice, he is a history buff and cinephile, with a particular interest in movies and documentaries. One cause that is particularly close to his heart is endometriosis.
