Robert-André Adam is originally from Amos and has been in private practice in Val-d’Or since 1997. As a partner at Cain Lamarre, he focuses his practice on commercial and corporate law, particularly in the area of business immigration.
Mr. Adam is known for his expertise in the fields of labour law, litigation and health and social services law. He also works with First Nations in various regions, which has led him to travel to Northern Quebec administrative region. He is in charge of Cain Lamarre’s Health and Social Services Law Practice Group.
Mr. Adam is known for his skill at pleading before the courts, particularly in employment law. He is involved in a variety of issues relating to First Nations governance, commercial law and mining. His ability to manage complex cases, providing practical solutions tailored to his clients’ needs has earned him a solid reputation in the legal community. Mr. Adam has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and was admitted to the Bar in 1995. Outside his legal practice, Mr. Adam is actively involved in his community. He has been president of the Festival d’humour de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue for many years, and is a member of the boards of directors for both the Aéroport régional de Val-d’Or and the Fondation Philippe Laprise. He sits on the Comité des contentieux en droit de la jeunesse and is a member of the Quebec Bar Committee on the justice system in Nunavik. In addition, he has given numerous lectures and taught workshops on both labour and health law.
