
Robert E. Boyd

Robert E. Boyd practises labour and employment law, helping employers in a variety of sectors to implement best practices, prevent disputes and make strategic decisions during conflicts. As a lawyer and Certified Industrial Relations Counsellor, he offers pragmatic, concrete solutions to complex situations.
Mr. Boyd advises his clients on all aspects of employment relations, as well as collective labour relations. He has also been an investigator on sexual harassment and violence cases for many years.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Boyd worked for multiple well-reputed firms before joining Cain Lamarre in Montreal in 2015. In addition to his litigation skills, he acts as a strategic adviser on collective bargaining and corporate restructuring. His many publications and conferences on labour and employment law bear witness to his expertise. Mr. Boyd has a Bachelor of Laws degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Industrial Relations from the Université de Montréal, and is actively involved in his community.
He is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CHRP). He is passionate about labour law, and shares his knowledge through training and conferences, thus contributing to the development of best practices in labour relations.
