Simon Corriveau is known for his multiple domains of expertise in Civil Law, including corporate and commercial litigation, civil liability and Insurance Law.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 2006, he serves a wide range of clients, including businesses of all sizes, insurance companies and individuals. Over the course of his career, Mr. Corriveau has acquired solid experience in pleading before courts of all levels. His methodical approach, which often takes him out into the field to get a deeper understanding of the issues at hand, attests to his commitment to his clients. Before settling in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, he spent four years working in Montreal, which enriched his professional experience. Mr. Corriveau has also shared his expertise through various conferences, mainly on fraud, the burden of proof in insurance (particularly in the context of arson), and claims management in the construction industry.

Mr. Corriveau has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université de Montréal and combines his legal expertise with contributions to his community. He is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Val-d’Or and has chaired the Centre local de développement de la Vallée-de-l’Or. Since January 1, 2025, he has been Managing Partner of the Val-d’Or and Rouyn-Noranda offices.
