
Sophie Croisetière
Notary

Sophie Croisetière joined Cain Lamarre’s Montreal team in 2018 after an articling term in Notarial Law with the firm. She specializes in Real Estate and Municipal Law. Over the course of her university career, Ms. Croisetière acquired significant experience working in the municipal field, notably as a built environment officer and urban planning consultant for the City of Montreal.
As a result, she now excels at reading construction plans and analyzing municipal regulations, particularly in the field of urban planning. She also has invaluable expertise in the construction industry and in the process of obtaining permits and other municipal authorizations required for different real estate projects.
Ms. Croisetière has a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Notarial Law degree, as well as a Certificate and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the Université de Montréal. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University. Outside of her legal practice, she is passionate about urban development and territorial planning, and continues to be involved in projects in these fields.
