Stéphane Lalande

Stéphane Lalande is renowned for his expertise in Real Estate Law, particularly in the acquisition, financing and disposition of large-scale projects.

He advises developers and investors in the development of office buildings and shopping centres, where he draws on his experience as a notary to review title deeds. He also represents borrowers and lenders in all kinds of real estate financing, including mezzanine, construction and leasing. His ability to offer precise, strategic solutions, combined with his overall vision of real estate projects, sets him apart in his field.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Lalande held important positions for numerous well-known firms before joining Cain Lamarre in 2019. He has played a key role in several large-scale real estate projects, negotiated financing contracts and managed complex real estate portfolios. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada since 2012 for his expertise in Real Estate Law, and by Chambers Canada Legal Guide since 2023. These achievements attest to his devotion to the profession and his commitment to legal excellence. 

Mr. Lalande has a Bachelor of Law degree, a Diploma in Notarial Law and a Licentiate in Law, all from the University of Ottawa. Outside his legal career, he is actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association and the Urban Development Institute of Quebec. In his spare time, he supports a variety of community initiatives.
