Steve Boudreau

Saguenay native Steve Boudreau practises Corporate and Transactional Law. He excels at anticipating potential problems and providing clear, effective solutions. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and corporate finance.

Prior to joining Cain Lamarre, Mr. Boudreau worked at the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), where he gained valuable experience in Financial Services Law. Among his more notable cases, he has advised several start-ups on financing and regulatory compliance issues, as well as assisting various companies in complex transactions. His clients particularly appreciate his ability to explain legal issues in plain language.

Mr. Boudreau graduated from Université Laval, where he simultaneously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and International Relations and a Bachelor of Law degree. He was very involved in student associations, defending students’ rights throughout his academic career. He is passionate about access to education and animal rights. In his spare time, he enjoys running outdoors and reading.
