Originally from Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Mr. Vincent Doucet-Bouchard joined Cain Lamarre in 2018, first as a law student and then while completing his articling term for the Quebec Bar.   Mr. Doucet-Bouchard practices mainly in Liability and Insurance Law, Health and Social Services Law, and civil and commercial litigation. He is recognized for his versatility, attention to detail, negotiating skills and ability to manage complex cases.  

He has been on retainer on a number of cases involving insurance claims and defense, complex coverage analyses and civil and contractual liability, demonstrating his commitment to his clients. He has also built a reputation for defending health care institutions against medical and hospital liability lawsuits, including class action suits. 

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université Laval. During his academic career, he enriched his legal knowledge by studying abroad at the Université de Toulouse and becoming involved in various organizations, notably Justice Pro Bono in Quebec City. Outside his legal practice, he is passionate about outdoor sports, including whitewater kayaking, hiking and snowboarding. He has also been the chair of the Collège d’Alma’s research ethics committee since 2020.
