William Richard

A native of Rimouski, William Richard has expertise in litigation and Construction Law. He specializes in all types of remedies, real estate litigation, civil, medical and hospital liability, as well as inheritance law. Mr. Richard is known for his versatility and his strategic mind, which enable him to take an innovative, pragmatic approach to each case. He strives to provide effective, personalized service by proposing custom solutions that are designed to meet his clients’ specific needs.
In addition to lecturing for the Association de la construction du Québec, he has also published essays on the insurance industry in the context of climate change and on the extension of pharmaceutical patents, demonstrating his commitment to staying at the forefront of legal developments and delving into the complex issues affecting various sectors today.
Mr. Richard has a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Life Sciences and Law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke. His participation in the board of directors of Moisson Rimouski-Neigette attests to his dedication to the community. He is committed to causes such as the fight against climate change, as well as food and financial insecurity. After completing his studies, he was inspired to return to his native region, where he is involved in outdoor activities such as downhill and backcountry skiing, mountain biking and hiking.
