Me Caroline Rouleau holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a joint degree in civil law and common law (BCL/JD) from McGill University. She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2022 and joined the Municipal and Environmental Group in Saguenay, where she practices municipal, environmental, agricultural, and agri-food law.
During her studies, Me Rouleau participated in a clinical course at the Centre québécois du droit de l’environnement where she did research and writing work with its legal clinic. She also completed a term at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where she took law and Earth sciences courses. Me Rouleau has also worked with VIA Rail’s risk management team on projects related to the corporation’s environmental laws and regulations compliance. Since the beginning of her practice, Me Rouleau has been involved in several cases under the jurisdiction of the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec.
Demonstrating integrity, conscientiousness, and warmth, Me Rouleau stands out for her eagerness to learn and her desire to get to the bottom of things, which sometimes leads her to question well-established ways of doing things.
