Gaston Desrosiers was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1977. A co-founder of Cain Lamarre in 1999, he was the firm's managing partner for twelve years and its president for six. Since 2023, he has acted as strategic adviser to the board chair and the executive management team. He is currently based in the Quebec City office. His vast experience and in-depth knowledge of the organization and its environment make him a respected leader and a key figure in the firm.


Mr. Desrosiers has developed cutting-edge expertise in business, banking, financing and real estate law. During his career, he has advised numerous clients on complex transactions and reorganizations. He has also been active in other fields such as municipal law, a topic on which he has given numerous talks and training courses to municipal elected officials.


Highly committed to his community, Mr. Desrosiers has held a number of leadership positions in both local and regional organizations. He has served as president of the Fondation de l'Université du Québec à Rimouski, the Rimouski Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors of the Cégep de Rimouski. He has also chaired fundraising campaigns for multiple causes, including the 2001 Jeux du Québec in Rimouski. Mr. Desrosiers has received numerous distinctions, including the title of Advocatus Emeritus (Ad. E.) and the Dollard-Morin Volunteer Award for his exemplary contributions.
