With over 20 years of experience, Me Hubert Crépault specializes in advising and supporting businesses and organizations in governance, commercial and corporate law, and corporate financing. He has developed strong expertise working with various non-profit organizations, as well as public and parapublic entities, SMEs, private educational institutions, cooperatives, and other businesses across different sectors. Me Crépault also assists several clients in the development of wind energy projects.

Over the years, Me Crépault has been involved in major transactions involving public and parapublic organizations, as well as companies in the education, natural resources, and technology sectors. He has extensive knowledge of applicable legal frameworks. Before joining Cain Lamarre in 2007, he worked at two major law firms. He regularly shares his expertise at conferences, particularly on collective business takeovers and the new Business Corporations Act, and has published articles on relations with First Nations in the context of mining law in Québec.

Me Crépault holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université Laval (2002) and is a trademark agent. Committed to his community, he is currently an administrator and secretary of Collège O’Sullivan de Québec and has long served as an administrator of the Fondation des Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec. He has been an invited speaker by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy and has participated in numerous conferences and publications on various topics.
