Cain Lamarre Represented Its Client, Stephan Tetrault, in the Acquisition of GameStop Canada and the Retailer's Return to Its Original Name, EB Games Canada, in Collaboration with Accounting Firm HNA
EB Games Canada, a video game retailer operating more than 185 stores across the country, was acquired by Mr. Tetrault, who is also the founder of toy manufacturer Imports Dragon.
For our client, the revival of the EB Games brand is an opportunity to "bring back something Canadians truly loved." The retailer's new owner aims to focus on nostalgia and community, while keeping innovation at the heart of EB Games Canada's decision-making.
