Richard Bergeron is managing partner at Cain Lamarre for the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, and practises commercial law and litigation with a particular focus on construction law. Mr. Bergeron is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He was recognized by Lexpert in 2023 and has been listed in the Best Lawyers in Canada directory since 2024.

Mr. Bergeron now acts primarily as a strategic adviser to his clients, who include construction and equipment companies, as well as work providers. He assists his clients in contract negotiations and contract execution, with a view to both prevention and preparation. Mr. Bergeron also acts as a strategic partner in solution and partnership research, as well as situation management. Finally, he supports his clients with internal management situations and event management. 

Mr. Bergeron is actively involved in different aspects of his community, including business, culture and health. He was awarded the Médaille de l’Assemblée nationale du Québec in 2011 for his volunteer work and community involvement.
