To support the growth of the firm and the senior finance team, Cain Lamarre is looking for a financial analyst to join the financial reporting team. The person may be based at any of our 15 offices in Quebec.

PROFILE

The financial analyst working in the financial information department contributes to the management and control of financial data that accurately reflects the organization’s economic activity. He or she assists the financial information director in his or her responsibilities, particularly with regard to partner management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a key role in preparing monthly and annual financial statements;
  • Ensure the timely preparation of financial reports;
  • Calculate and record provisions and adjustments required at month-end;
  • Analyze budget variances and communicate them to stakeholders;
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer in managing partners;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes, systems, and information tools;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of methodologies, policies, programs, and systems that support financial activities;
  • Contribute to a positive work environment within your team.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES SOUGHT

  • University degree (Bachelor’s) in accounting, finance, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management;
  • Member of the Quebec CPA Order (an asset);
  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Advanced skills in Excel;
  • Skills in using PowerBI an asset;
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, simplify, and present financial information;
  • Ability to adapt to change and work with deadlines in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to group dynamics;
  • Client-oriented perspective.
