Me Chalifoux received her bachelor’s degree in law from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2019 and has been a member of the Quebec Bar in Montreal since 2020. Dedicated to promoting access to justice, Me Chalifoux was involved during her studies in the university’s Legal Clinic, first as a consultant and then as a coordinator in business law.
Having accumulated experience in commercial financing, particularly in credit and compliance services with Mouvement Desjardins, Me Chalifoux joined the Cain Lamarre corporate group in Val-D’Or to practice business law.

Me Julie Robert is a tax lawyer who holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Université de Montréal, a graduate diploma in taxation, and a Master’s degree in Tax Law from HEC Montréal. A member of the Quebec Bar since 2013, Me Robert is also a member of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).
Specialized in commercial and tax law and in transactional law, Me Robert deals with transactional tax matters, financial and estate planning, tax reorganizations, and business law. She has completed partnership agreements as well as business acquisition and sale transactions. Her practice also includes trusts and non-profit organizations.

Me Dina Akram holds a bachelor’s degree in law with a major in Political Science from Université de Montréal and is a member of the Quebec Bar since 2021. She speaks French, English and Spanish.
For a long time, Me Akram has shown an interest in the fields of business law, but also in the issues related to sexual violence. She combines these two passions in her practice with Cain Lamarre’s Business and Investigations groups.

A law graduate from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Me Olivier Lefebvre has developed an expertise in labour and employment law. More specifically, he handles cases involving competitors and the duty of loyalty, human rights and freedoms, collective labour relations, individual labour relations, occupational health and safety, and the drafting of employment contracts. In addition, his expertise extends to litigation in construction, commercial litigation, business litigation and civil liability. He has joined the Litigation and Labour and Employment groups at the Montreal office.

Me Jacynthe Ledoux is a member of the Quebec Bar since 2011. She is also a member of the Ontario Bar. A lawyer specializing in Indigenous law, Me Ledoux has a diverse practice that includes representing First Nations in environmental law, specific claims, energy law, natural resources, constitutional law, youth protection and human rights.
Me Ledoux is passionate about complex cases involving overlapping jurisdictions. Her mastery of civil law, common law and her openness to Indigenous legal traditions allow her to find creative solutions based on the affirmation of the self-determination of Indigenous peoples.
