
Amélie Dufour

After obtaining her Bachelor of Laws degree from Université Laval in Quebec City, Amélie Dufour was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2019. She started her legal practice with a Quebec City firm, then joined the Saguenay team in 2021 to practise litigation and construction law in her native region, which had been a goal of hers ever since she first started out. Since her arrival at the firm, Mrs. Dufour has developed particular expertise in construction claims, with both contractors and work providers.
In her professional practice, Mrs. Dufour is known for her enthusiasm, team spirit and availability. She is attentive to her clients’ needs, using her skills and experience to ensure the success of each and every case she takes on. Her colleagues say she is hardworking and a major asset to the team, handling all her cases with efficiency and determination.
An active member of the legal community, she is president of the board of directors for the Association du Jeune Barreau du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean and provides training to construction contractors through the Association de la Construction du Québec. She is also involved with the Kiwanis Club in Jonquière, which helps local children. In addition to her professional activities, Amélie Dufour enjoys gastronomy and playing the piano.
