Andrew Moar

Originally from Mashteuiatsh, Mr. Andrew Moar grew up between the Saguenay–Lac–Saint–Jean region and the Outaouais. He now practices Indigenous Law at the Saguenay office, where his roots, knowledge, and openness toward diverse communities shape an authentic and respectful approach to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous clients.
His academic experiences in New Zealand and Chile enriched his understanding of Indigenous realities on an international scale. Indigenous Law also played an important role during his time at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada. Mr. Moar further developed a broad range of experience within public organizations, including CISSSO, the Canada Border Services Agency, and the University of Ottawa.
Rigour, creativity, and attention to detail define his practice. Mr. Moar favours tailored and innovative solutions that align with his clients’ values and longterm objectives. He has also been involved with the Mamuk Multiservice Centre in Québec since 2025.
Interested in travel, nature, digital media, and philosophical and political reflection, he brings an open and contemporary perspective to his practice.
