Brian Cayouette

Brian Cayouette joined Cain Lamarre in 2023. He has extensive experience in business law, particularly in financing, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, and consumer law. He also practices in commercial and shareholder litigation.
Recognized for his practical and effective approach, which is always focused on his clients’ goals, Mr. Cayouette has distinguished himself through significant mandates, such as the renewal of a banking syndicate agreement worth over one hundred million dollars, the sale of a sports agency, and the acquisition of a naval shipyard. His grasp of complex issues and his ability to negotiate favorable agreements make him a valuable asset to his clients.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Mr. Cayouette is actively involved in the community. In 2024, he was appointed Governor of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Québec. Before pursuing a career in law, he played hockey for the Remparts of Quebec from 2007 to 2009, and then for the Gees Gees of the University of Ottawa. This unique athletic experience taught him early on the sacrifices required to achieve his goals.
