David Lecours
Lawyer, Partner
David Lecours, lawyer and partner, practices labor and employment law, health law, and conducts administrative investigations. Mr. Lecours advises and represents a diverse clientele of SMEs, public institutions, and large companies throughout Québec. He is active in all sectors, particularly in the natural resources, construction, service and public administration sectors.
In labor and employment law, Mr. Lecours provides daily advice to organizations on human resources management. As a lawyer, litigator, strategic advisor, and skilled negotiator, he is called upon to represent clients before various labor tribunals.
Mr. Lecours is responsible for the firm’s Administrative Investigations practice group. In this capacity, he ensures the effectiveness and relevance of the firm’s administrative investigation services. Recognized as a leader in such investigations throughout Québec, he puts all his experience at the service of the firm’s clients.
Mr. Lecours is a sought-after speaker and trainer. He has taught labor law at the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and has given seminars to numerous private and public organizations, including the Barreau du Québec.
In health law, Mr. Lecours has been a legal advisor and lawyer for health care institutions for several years. He has developed a particular practice in personal integrity, which leads him to regularly plead before the Court of Québec and the Superior Court.
A professional involved in his community, he was president of the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Rouyn-Noranda from 2020 to 2024.
He currently sits on the board of directors of the M Société de bienfaisance Marie-Soleil et Jonathan, an organization that helps children and the most vulnerable members of our society.
