Étienne Tanguay

Étienne Tanguay has been practicing business law at the Montreal office since 2025. Before joining Cain Lamarre, he practiced at an international law firm, where he developed his skills in many areas of business law. Étienne’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, commercial and corporate law, and taxation.

Accessible and attentive, Étienne supports his clients, entrepreneurs, and organizations in their various legal needs to help them achieve their goals. He also attaches great importance to simplifying complex legal concepts and proposing concrete solutions tailored to his clients’ realities and their current and future challenges.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Laval University and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Sherbrooke, and he also completed the Bar School in 2020. Outside the office, Étienne is passionate about the outdoors, culture, and the arts.
