Félix Cardin
Lawyer, Business and Corporate Law
Félix Cardin focuses his practice on business and corporate law, particularly in the areas of transactions, governance, and corporate financing. Following a high-level sports career and with five years of experience in business and law firms, he assists his clients in the pragmatic application of the law in both local and international business contexts. He is known for his availability to his clients, active listening, and efficiency.
Félix holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.L) from the University of Ottawa, obtained with Cum Laude honors and a place on the Dean’s Honor Roll. He also completed an exchange program in international business law at Jiao Tong University in China, as well as a certificate in business administration at UQAM. He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M) at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. In 2023, he obtained a certification for directors from the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations.
A former high-level athlete, Félix spent eight years with CF Montréal, including five as a professional player. A two-time Canadian champion and former member of the U17 and U20 national teams, he also served as a coach at the club’s academy. This athletic experience allowed him to develop a rigorous approach and strategic sense that he now applies to his legal practice, particularly in the areas of governance and corporate management.
Félix is involved in the sports community, serving as chair of Soccer Canada’s Disciplinary Committee and as a member of the Competition Committee. He attaches great importance to causes related to child development, notably through his involvement with the Breakfast Club.
In his spare time, Félix devotes himself to his family and practices several sports, including skiing, martial arts, and trail running, which he takes to the extreme with ultra-marathons. He is also passionate about travel and outdoor activities.
