Gabrielle Bartkowiak was called to the Quebec Bar in 2023 and now practises at the Saguenay office in Labour and Employment Law, Insurance and Liability, and administrative investigations. Before becoming a member of the Bar, she gained broader legal experience by working as a judicial intern at the Court of Québec and as a teaching and research assistant at Université Laval’s Faculty of Law.
Ms. Bartkowiak stands out for her exceptional analysis, popularization and legal writing skills, which have been reinforced by her additional training in the field of journalism. Her passion for the Law, combined with her leadership skills and human approach, make her a dedicated professional who is able to navigate legal complexities with confidence and empathy.
She holds a Bachelor of Law degree and a combined Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and International Relations from Université Laval, giving her an in-depth understanding of both legal and international issues. A native of Chibougamau, Ms. Bartkowiak is particularly sensitive to the issues facing remote regions and Indigenous communities. She also loves sports and the outdoors, particularly running, skiing, hiking and volleyball, in which she finds an echo of her quest for professional excellence.
