Jean Dauphinais

A partner at the firm, Jean Dauphinais has been practicing law for over 40 years, primarily in banking, finance, and insurance law. He represents numerous financial institutions, including the Desjardins Group. In addition to these services, he advises, assists, and represents these institutions in court on matters related to the liability of directors and officers.
Throughout his career, Mr. Dauphinais has acquired solid expertise in banking and tax law and has taught these subjects at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, the Institute of Canadian Bankers, and the Cégep de Jonquière. He has also given lectures on business law to various regional associations. His experience and expertise in banking litigation are widely recognized.
Mr. Dauphinais holds a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Sherbrooke and a bachelor’s degree in law from the same institution. He is a member of the Club Richelieu and served as president of the Chambre de commerce de Chicoutimi. His commitment to the community and his contributions to the legal profession are fundamental pillars of his career.
